‘Working - A Musical’ onstage at A.C.T. (A Contemporary Theatre) in Ridgefield

A reimagined version of Stephen Schwartz’s Broadway musical Working is set to premiere at A.C.T. of Connecticut, featuring new music by artists such as Lin-Manuel Miranda and inspired by recent interviews with local workers. Artistic Director Daniel C. Levine, who collaborated with Schwartz on this project, expressed his excitement: “To be able to work with Stephen on ‘Working,’ which is his show, is really cool. The fact he has allowed me to make changes is remarkable.” This unique production, blending Broadway talent and local stories, will run from February 14 to March 10 at the Ridgefield theater.
